Avocado exports from Chile are more than 400% higher than last year's levels.

The Chilean avocado export market registered 132 containers in week 5, reflecting a 10% decrease compared to the previous week. Despite this decline, the distribution of shipments has remained stable: 43% of the total went to Latin America, 26% to the United States, 18% to Asia, and 13% to Europe.

Since week 42, Chile's export volumes have exceeded last year's levels week after week. In week 4, this difference is particularly significant, as current shipments are more than four times higher than those of the same period in 2024, when export activity was at a low point.

Currently, the country continues to ship more than 100 containers per week, indicating that the season could extend beyond previous years. The evolution of volumes in the coming weeks will be key to determining the duration and stability of the Chilean market this season.
