Chilean exports increase 42% with Latin America as the main destination

At the close of week 11, Chile recorded a total of 81 containers of avocados exported, representing a 42% increase compared to the previous week. This rise reflects a significant recovery in shipments, although there are still no clear signs as to when the season might end.

Latin America continues to be the leading destination for Chilean fruit, accounting for 59% of export volume. The United States follows with 25%, and to a lesser extent, Europe with 16%, whose share continues to decline.

On the other hand, China remains a key market for Chile, maintaining a market share above 10% in some weeks, even surpassing Europe and the United States on occasion. Although the season has not shown a sharp decline, uncertainty remains regarding its duration, so it will be necessary to continue monitoring its evolution in the coming weeks.
