Strategic expansion in Florida to strengthen the distribution of avocados and mangoes

A new operation in Miami seeks to optimize logistics, reduce transit times and respond to the growing demand in the southeastern United States.

The opening of an operations and distribution center in Miami will allow the company to directly serve customers in Florida with high-quality avocados and mangoes, as well as offer ripening and packing services. The location will also strengthen its reach into other strategic markets in the southeastern United States.

Florida has become a key hub for importing fresh produce from Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, and other countries. From Miami, the company will be able to optimize its logistics, improve availability, and deliver products more quickly, serving over 18,000 retail outlets in the region.

The state represents one of the fastest-growing markets for these fruits: in the last 12 months, 76% of consumers purchased avocados and 46% purchased mangoes, figures that far exceed the national average. Furthermore, population growth and a strong Hispanic consumer base create an ideal scenario for boosting the growth of these categories in the coming years.
