Colombia reports farms authorized to export Hass avocados to six international markets

Colombia is advancing in its positioning as a reliable supplier of Hass avocados globally, with farms authorized to export to different destinations according to the sanitary requirements of each country, according to updated data from CorpoHass and Avocados From Colombia (CAB).

The official information details the hectares enabled with Territorial Planning Plan (POT) for export, distributed by market.

Furthermore, according to data from the Colombian Agricultural Institute (ICA), updated in 2024, Colombia has 39,749 hectares officially registered for Hass avocado cultivation. Meanwhile, the 2023 Municipal Agricultural Evaluation Statistics (EVA) report a total of 69,369 hectares planted and 49,732 hectares harvested, reflecting a significant expansion of the crop nationwide.

These data reflect the sustained growth of the sector and the commitment of Colombian producers to comply with international health regulations, consolidating the Colombian Hass avocado as a high-quality and reliable product in the most demanding markets in the world.
