China receives 21 shipments of avocados, 22% less than the previous week

The Chinese market closed with a total of 21 shipments, representing a 22% decrease compared to the previous week. Supply was dominated by Peru, which accounted for three-quarters of the shipments, while the remainder came from Chile, which has been gradually increasing its share, although without reaching significant volumes.

Unlike previous periods, when the market exhibited significant fluctuations—with weeks exceeding 100 containers followed by others with less than half that number—the last few days have been characterized by a low but steady flow. This stability in arriving volumes contrasts sharply with the marked volatility of previous months.

Regarding prices, the Chinese market remained virtually unchanged compared to last week. However, year-on-year, current values are higher than those recorded in 2024, when prices were declining.
