Chile does not appear likely to repeat the "peak" of week 40

Chile is showing lower numbers than expected for this time of year. It closed week 41 with a decrease, shipping 317 containers, which represents 100 fewer shipments than the previous week (-24%).

Furthermore, these shipments are below the same week in 2023 (-16%), going against the forecast, where an upward trend was expected.

With this data in hand, we could have already witnessed the "peak" of the season, with the 417 shipments in week 40. Last season, the decline at this point in the campaign was more gradual.

Of the 317 shipments in week 41, 79% traveled to Europe; 12% to Latin America; and the rest to Asia (6%) and the United States (3%).
