Brazil becomes the epicenter of Latin American fruit farming

From August 4th to 8th, Campinas will host key players in the sector at a pivotal event for the future of fruit production and marketing. Avobook will be the official media partner, and its CEO, Sebastián de la Cuadra, will present the global avocado market outlook.

The fruit-growing world will have its eyes on Brazil this August, when the 29th Brazilian Fruit Growing Congress (CBF) is held from August 4th to 8th at Expo D. Pedro in Campinas, São Paulo. Organized by the Brazilian Society of Fruit Growing (SBF), the event is recognized as the leading technical and scientific forum for the sector in Latin America, bringing together researchers, producers, companies, and institutions from across the continent.

This year, the Congress launches a key component: the 1st Fruit Growing Technology Fair – BRAZIL FRUITS, a platform that promises to foster business, showcase innovations and connect industry leaders with new opportunities.

We are also pleased to announce that this year we will be participating as a media partner, with the aim of continuing to promote the most important activities in the global avocado market.

In addition, Sebastián de la Cuadra, CEO of Avobook, will be one of the featured speakers of the program with his talk entitled “Current Situation and Perspectives of the Global Avocado Market” , in which he will address the main trends of the global market, the logistical challenges in the international marketing of avocados, and the opportunities that are opening up in different continents for this fruit that has gained prominence in the last decade.

A diverse and highly specialized program

The Brazilian Congress of Fruit Growing will feature technical symposia, keynote lectures, poster sessions, technical visits and networking activities, consolidating an unprecedented environment for scientific and commercial exchange.

The topics covered include the cultivation of citrus fruits, grapes, mangoes, bananas, passion fruit, native fruits, small fruits, and other key products in the continent's agricultural economy. There will also be time to discuss sustainability, technological innovation, phytosanitary management, and international marketing.

With its cross-cutting approach and its ability to articulate science, technology and business, CBF 2025 is projected as an unmissable event for those working for the development of the fruit sector in Latin America.
