Avocados From Mexico closes its biggest influencer campaign in Canada

The initiative, which lasted eight months and involved 51 content creators, achieved more than 600,000 impressions and solidified the Mexican avocado as an essential part of Canadian cuisine.

From Vancouver to Montreal, Avocados From Mexico launched its most ambitious campaign yet in the Canadian market, one of the world's largest per capita consumers of avocados. The strategy involved 51 influencers, ranging from chefs and nutritionists to family-run and culinary creators, with the goal of showcasing the versatility of avocados in everyday meals.

Far from being a series of one-off collaborations, the campaign unfolded as an ongoing narrative aligned with key moments on the calendar, such as holiday recipes, wellness content during Health and Nutrition Month, lunchbox ideas, Cinco de Mayo celebrations, and summer activities. This approach allowed for the creation of authentic content that reflects the diversity of cuisines and lifestyles across Canada.

With 276 original posts and over 600,000 impressions, the campaign achieved an average engagement rate of 4%, highlighting the high level of audience engagement. In addition, special collaborations were held with six Canadian chefs who contributed recipes from different regions of the country. “We didn’t just show avocados on toast, but how Canadians actually use them in their daily lives,” said Xavier Bernard, consultant for Avocados From Mexico.
