Increased avocado volume in the US

In the United States, avocado shipments arrived in strong force, with a total of 1,373 containers and trucks crossing its borders. This figure represents a 7% increase compared to the previous week and 20% more than the same period last year. As is typical in the U.S. market, Mexico remains the dominant supplier, contributing 96% of the volume. However, the surprise came from Colombia, whose volume grew by 61% compared to last week. Mexico, for its part, remained strong, with a modest increase of 5%, but still made its mark on the market. As for prices, the market remained stable. Larger sizes, those most sought after by consumers, saw a slight increase of 4%, while smaller sizes remained relatively unchanged.
