Michoacán still hasn't harvested and the market is already without fruit.

Mexico

November 4, 2026

Last week a total of 11,000 tons were sent to the market, practically all the cold storage inventory from the packing plants and the harvest that could be carried out in Jalisco, and very little in Michoacán, due to the closure of the local boards, mainly due to dissatisfaction with the price conditions, which paralyzed any activity in the field.

To this day we still cannot harvest in Michoacán, which has already caused a very large shortage of fruit in the market.

This week the volume will be very small to supply the market and cover consumption needs.

Let's hope there will be an opening soon and that everything will return to normal.

Have a great week everyone.
