The Association of Avocado Producers and Exporters (APEAJAL) invites you to the 8th Annual Jalisco Avocado Congress 2024, an event that brings together all members of the industry under the theme "Technology for the Present and Future." The Jalisco Avocado Congress 2024 aims to bring together producers, exporters, researchers, and experts in a forum to discuss and implement technological improvements to optimize cultivation and export procedures. One of the most anticipated moments of the Congress will be the presentation of the “Sustainable Avocado Grower of the Year Award.” This recognition, granted by a jury external to APEAJAL, will highlight producers who have implemented sustainable agricultural practices. Evaluation criteria include water conservation, pollinator management, and the establishment of biological corridor islands, among other innovative and environmentally responsible practices.

This year, Congress attendees will have the unique opportunity to take guided tours of three avocado orchards in Jalisco.
