Westfalia Fruit is getting a head start on Cinco de Mayo and Mother's Day with its new line of avocado oil.

Westfalia Fruit is excited to announce the introduction of its premium avocado oil line in the United States this spring, coinciding with Cinco de Mayo and Mother's Day. Available in natural, lemon, and garlic flavors, these oils are suitable for a wide range of culinary applications thanks to their high smoke point, making them ideal for a variety of cooking techniques.

Christina Ward of Westfalia Fruit notes that the California harvest is expected to peak in late April, with good availability through June, although the fruit will be smaller due to the weather. This highlights the industry's need to adapt to natural variations.

In preparation for May, the North American avocado industry is focusing on promotions highlighting avocados from California, Mexico, Colombia, and Peru. Colombia, with its fertile soil, and Peru, with a strong season expected from May to August, guarantee a consistent supply. Presence in these countries, along with Chile, allows Westfalia Fruit to maintain a supply of high-quality avocados for North America and other markets. In Mexico, availability is stable year-round, with the current harvest coming from high-altitude areas promising superior flavor.

The company emphasizes its commitment to sustainability and innovation, responding to the growing consumer demand for healthy and organic products, as reflected in increasing sales and awareness of the health benefits of avocados.
