South Africa reduces its avocado shipments to Europe by 34%, while the rest remain stable.

During week 31, the European avocado market received a total of 999 containers, representing a 2% decrease compared to the previous week. Despite this slight decline, the volume remains 25% higher than that recorded during the same week last year, reflecting a positive year-on-year trend.

Regarding the distribution by origin, Peru remains the leading supplier, accounting for 80% of total shipments. Kenya follows with 8%, Colombia with 7%, and South Africa with 5%. While Peru, Colombia, and Kenya maintain similar volumes to the previous week, South Africa experienced a more significant decline, with a 34% reduction, falling below 50 containers shipped during the week.

In terms of prices, the Spanish market shows no significant changes compared to the previous week, remaining stable.
