Peru reduces its weekly shipments, although it exceeds last year's levels

Avocado exports from Peru saw a sharp decline during week 39, with a total of 284 containers shipped, representing a 43% drop compared to the previous week. Despite this weekly decrease, the volume remains well above that recorded during the same week last year, reflecting the increased dynamism of the 2025 season.

Regarding destinations, Europe remains the primary market, accounting for 86% of shipments. This is followed by Chile with 9%, Asia with 4%, and the United States with approximately 1%. Peru shipped nearly 250 containers to Europe alone, confirming the continued importance of this destination even in the final phase of the season.
