Peru exports 1,415 containers, with a slight weekly decrease, but maintains a strong leadership in Europe.

During the end of week 28, Peru registered a total of 1,415 containers of avocados exported, representing a 3% decrease compared to the previous week. However, the volume remains significantly higher than last year, with a 35% increase compared to the same period in 2024.

Regarding market distribution, Europe continues to be the primary destination for Peruvian exports, consolidating its dominance with a share that typically ranges between 55% and 60% of the total. Thus, in week 29, the European market absorbed 81% of Peru's exports.

The remaining quotas are distributed as follows: the United States accounted for 20% of total exports, Chile 11%, Asia 9%, and the remaining 5% is divided between Canada and other smaller destinations. This composition reflects a sustained trend so far this season, with no significant variations in market behavior.
