Peru is beginning to lose ground in China while awaiting Chile's entry.

The Chinese market closed the week with 51 shipments from Peru, representing a 6% decrease compared to the previous week. Even with this decline, the volume remains more than double that of the same period last year.

The market is already noticing the gradual reduction of Peruvian supply, which will continue to decrease in the coming weeks until it gives way to shipments from Chile, which, in the last season, began to arrive in the weeks prior to the current one.

Regarding prices, the situation remains low. This week's price is 57% lower than that recorded during the same period last year and showed no change compared to last week. However, when compared to previous years' trends, the outlook indicates that a significant rebound begins from this point, especially as volumes from Peru decrease more sharply.
