The program includes demonstration visits to avocado orchards, as well as conferences covering topics related to exporting, climate change, beneficial microorganisms, pest and disease control, sustainability, and the use of technologies for sustainable development.
The 2024 Avocado Congress, coming to Ciudad Guzmán, is a forum for analyzing the trends in this iconic Mexican fruit. It's also the ideal space for avocado producers to exchange perspectives and learn about the latest technological advancements and sustainability initiatives.
Eleazar Oceguera Aguayo, president of Apeajal, highlighted the importance of the congress and how, edition after edition, the avocado meeting helps to clarify the present and future of the sector and the challenges to be faced.
