Peru's Hass avocado exports in 2023 grew by 1%.

According to data from Prohass, Hass avocado exports in the 2023 season grew by 1% compared to 2022. Looking at annual volumes, a considerable slowdown is observed, growing by 31% in 2021, followed by 15% in 2022, before falling to a growth of 1%.

According to initial projections, export volume fell by 13%. This discrepancy becomes more evident from June onwards, when the estimated value significantly exceeds the actual value, a trend that persists throughout the rest of the season.
