Europe receives fewer avocados in week 32, but prices remain stable.

In week 32, the European market received an estimated 912 containers of avocados, a 9% decrease compared to the previous week. However, the volume remains 14% higher than that recorded during the same period last year.

Peru led the supply by a wide margin with an 81% share, followed at a distance by Kenya and Tanzania with 9%, Colombia with 7%, and South Africa with 3%. In the week-on-week comparison, all origins registered declines, except for Kenya and Tanzania, which increased their volume by 6%.

Regarding prices, sources in Spain indicated that the situation remains stable, similar to the last two weeks, with no significant changes. In Rotterdam, Netherlands, slight decreases were reported for most calibers: 18 gauge fell by 4%, while .32 gauge decreased by 3%.
