Chilean shipments decrease by 17%, but remain above last year's levels.

Chilean exports closed the week with an estimated 307 containers shipped, a 17% decrease compared to the previous week. Even so, the volume remains 14% higher than that recorded during the same week in 2024, reflecting a faster pace of shipments than the previous year.

The distribution by destination shows that Europe accounts for 64% of the cargo, followed by Latin America with 21%, Asia with 11%, and the United States with 5%. Comparing these figures with the previous season reveals a change in the destination structure.

Europe increased its share and displaced markets that had a larger presence in previous cycles, especially the United States, which went from receiving 9% of Chilean exports to only 3% in the current season. Latin America and Asia also reduced their relative share compared to the advance of the European market.
