The Global Avocado Summit returns with an updated outlook for 2024

The avocado industry landscape is constantly evolving, with significant changes affecting both the global market and Chile. New countries are emerging as suppliers, markets are showing promising growth, and local consumption is on the rise. However, alongside these opportunities, crucial challenges arise, such as boosting the sector's competitiveness and promoting sustainable practices.

In this context, the Global Avocado Summit returns, a revamped version of this annual event, to be held on November 21st at the Monticello Casino, organized by the Chilean Avocado Committee and the Yentzen Group. This event, which brings together farmers, marketers, and exporters from the industry, aims to analyze the current state of the sector, explore potential markets, and delve into commercial and marketing strategies, with a central focus on sustainability.

Francisco Contardo, Executive Director of the Avocado Committee, highlights the importance of the event as a platform to showcase sustainable production and commercial processes. Gustavo Yentzen, CEO of Yentzen Group, emphasizes that the Global Avocado Summit 2024 will bring together key players in the avocado business to discuss its commercial future at the global, regional, and national levels.

The event will address crucial topics, such as sustainability, where Chile has emerged as a leader, implementing exemplary projects that serve as an inspiration internationally. The Global Avocado Summit is expected to be a key forum for understanding the future of the avocado industry, both in Chile and globally, and for exploring future trends and guidelines in sustainability.
