The Colombian Hass Avocado Producers and Exporters Corporation (CorpoHass) has indicated that the area cultivated with Hass avocado reaches a total of 32,000 hectares suitable for export.

Opportunities for the agricultural sector

The expansion of certified Hass avocado export acreage to the United States marks a significant milestone for Colombia. This achievement opens new opportunities for growth and development in the country's agricultural industry, generating higher incomes for producers and creating new jobs in rural areas.

Hass avocado exports to the United States are expected to continue growing in the coming years, driven by high demand for this product in the US market.
