China maintains moderate activity with a decrease in shipments from Chile

The Chinese market closed week 4 with no significant changes in its supply dynamics. No volumes were recorded from Peru during this period, while shipments from Chile showed a notable reduction: from 20 containers received in week 3, the figure fell to just 10.

These are expected to be the last weeks of significant Chilean participation in the Chinese market, with shipments likely to be very limited thereafter. Attention is now focused on Peru's upcoming re-entry, with exports expected to begin growing steadily in February and consolidate by March.

In terms of price, .22 caliber saw a slight increase of 20 cents, reaching $4.60 per kilogram. While the adjustment is not significant, it reflects the dynamics of a market that remains stable but is awaiting the arrival of new supply in the coming weeks.
