Chile drops below 300 weekly containers after several weeks of decline

Chilean exports closed week 46 with 285 containers, a 7% decrease compared to the previous week, but still 6% above the level recorded in the same week last year. With this result, the weekly volume has fallen back below 300 containers, after several consecutive weeks of decline.

The distribution by market showed a clear orientation towards Europe, which absorbed approximately two-thirds of total exports. The remaining volume was divided between Asia (14%), Latin America (14%), and the United States (5%). This structure confirms the export preference for Chilean products towards destinations that maintain consistent demand at this stage of the season.

In terms of market share, Chile continues to show a significant presence in the European market, reaching 49% during week 47. In the Chinese market, its share reached 62%, consolidating its position as one of the main suppliers. In contrast, in the United States, its share remains below 1%, reflecting a marginal role in that market.
