Peruvian exports

Peru increases its shipments by 12.5%, and Europe accounts for 63%.

The Peruvian industry reached 1,324 shipments in week 20, with Europe as the main destination and a greater presence from the United States.

Peru recorded 1,324 avocado shipments during week 20, a figure that represents an increase of 12.5% compared to week 19. However, the volume showed a slight decrease of 1% compared to the same week last year, remaining at levels similar to 2025.

Europe remained the primary destination for Peruvian fruit, accounting for 63% of shipments. Asia ranked second with 15.5%, followed by Chile with 11% and the United States with approximately 8%, a market that continues to gain market share in Peruvian exports.

In the European market, Peru maintained its leading market share. During week 20, it reached 68% of the market, while in week 21 it registered a slight decrease to 65%.
