6th International Avocado Congress Africa 2026

The event will bring together key players in the sector in May 2026 in Kenya, with conferences, a trade exhibition and sponsorship from Avobook.

The 6th International Avocado, Fruit and Vegetable Congress Africa 2026 has officially opened its registration process and is preparing to bring together, once again, the main players in the fruit and vegetable industry from the continent and the international market. The event will take place from May 26 to 28, 2026, at the Sarit Expo Centre in Nairobi, Kenya, solidifying its position as the largest specialized event for the sector in Africa.

Organized by the Avocado Africa Congress, the congress has become a strategic platform for commercial, technical, and knowledge exchange, bringing together producers, exporters, importers, buyers, technology providers, authorities, and organizations involved in agricultural development. Throughout its previous editions, the event has supported the sustained growth of the African avocado industry, strengthening its position in international markets.

Over three days, the program will combine technical conferences, networking opportunities, and a trade show focused on presenting products, services, and innovations for the avocado value chain and other fruits and vegetables. These activities will be complemented by a technical field tour, scheduled for May 29, which will allow attendees to learn firsthand about production experiences and agricultural practices in Kenya, one of the key countries in the expansion of African avocado production.

The organizers have emphasized that the congress not only seeks to facilitate business, but also to promote dialogue on the main challenges of the sector, such as productivity, quality, plant health, logistics, market access and sustainability, in a context of growing global demand for fresh fruit from Africa.

In this sixth edition, Avobook will once again participate as a media partner, reaffirming its connection with the event and its commitment to disseminating strategic information and increasing the visibility of the actors driving the development of avocados in Africa and their connection to international markets.

Registration for exhibitors and participants is now open, and spaces are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. The 6th International Avocado, Fruit and Vegetable Congress Africa 2026 is thus projected as a key event for those seeking to understand, connect, and actively participate in the future of the African fruit and vegetable sector.
