The figure represents a 31% drop compared to the previous week, mainly due to a smaller harvest during a period marked by two public holidays. Despite this weekly decline, the total volume remains 22% higher than that recorded during the same period last year.

Regarding the dynamics by origin, shipments from Peru have begun, with two shipments recorded this week. California, meanwhile, shows a significant increase of 29% in its volumes, while the Dominican Republic presents a notable decrease.

In terms of prices, week 15 shows an upward trend across all sizes. Size 84 stands out with a 10% increase, followed by size 48, which rose 7%. The remaining sizes registered increases ranging between 4% and 5%, consolidating several consecutive weeks of moderate increases.

Regarding the production scenario in Mexico, Antonio Villaseñor points out that Jalisco is practically finishing its harvest, currently representing about 5% of the total production between that state and Michoacán. He also indicates that producer prices have shown a slight improvement compared to previous weeks and that this trend is projected to continue, in a context where California is gaining market share.

Gary Clevenger, for his part, points out that market conditions stabilized during the last week, with the 60 caliber segment being the most dynamic and with sustained increases in its values.
