CHINA ANALYSIS
China records 1 shipment and prices above 2024-2025 levels
Week 15 shows only one shipment to China, amid irregular deliveries. Prices exceed USD 5/kg and are above 2024 and 2025 levels.
In week 15, the avocado market in China recorded only one shipment, a figure that does not reflect the true dynamics of shipments due to the intermittent nature of deliveries from Peru. This variation is due to logistical adjustments that can concentrate volumes in previous or subsequent weeks, thus limiting the weekly data as an indicator of actual flow.

Last week saw 19 shipments, a similarly limited volume. However, according to recent records, a significant increase is expected next week, with approximately 200 shipments coming from Peru, indicating continued exports to this destination.
Regarding prices, the Chinese market maintains an upward trend after the drop observed in week 11. This behavior has been sustained in subsequent weeks, currently reaching levels above $5 per kilo for 4 kilo boxes, in sizes ranging from 18 to 24.
These values not only consolidate the market recovery, but also exceed the levels recorded in the same period of 2024 and 2025.
