Between September and November, various events will bring the sector together to address production, markets, sustainability and innovation.

The international avocado industry is preparing for the final stretch of the year, marked by technical, commercial and strategic meetings in various producing markets and consumption destinations.
With conferences, fairs and summits scheduled between September and November, the agenda will cover everything from water management and orchard productivity to marketing, sustainability and the development of the avocado oil industry.

Morocco Avocado Conference
On September 30, Tangier will host the first edition of the Morocco Avocado Conference (MAC) , a new event focused on the technical and commercial challenges of the Moroccan industry.
Under the theme “Water, Yield, Market,” the program will include presentations and panels on plant quality and certification, irrigation, fertigation, climate risks, orchard management, and crop protection. The event is organized by Green Smile, a company with over 17 years of experience in conducting agricultural events in Morocco.
Fruit Attraction
The agenda will continue from October 6 to 8 in Spain with Fruit Attraction 2026 , a trade fair that will bring together more than 2,400 exhibiting companies and 121,000 professionals from more than 150 countries at IFEMA Madrid, according to the organization's projections.
The event will bring together producers, exporters, importers, distributors, and buyers to focus on four key areas: fresh produce, the agricultural supply industry, logistics for perishables, and technological innovation. Fruit Attraction is organized by IFEMA Madrid and the Spanish Federation of Associations of Fruit and Vegetable Producers and Exporters (FEPEX).
Moroccan Avocado Summit
Morocco will once again focus the attention of the sector with the second edition of the Moroccan Avocado Summit, which will take place on October 15 in Larache under the slogan "Yields, Trends and Sustainability".
The conference will cover precision agriculture, irrigation management, varietal yield, post-harvest handling, export logistics, and innovation. It will also include sessions dedicated to responsible water use, soil conservation, renewable energy, and good agricultural practices.
The meeting is driven by the avocado agro-industrial ecosystem in Morocco and has Rita Bensaid and Sarra El Hassani, from Frozen Fruits International, as official contacts.
World Avocado Oil Congress
Seville will host the first World Avocado Oil Congress from October 29 to 31 , an event specifically dedicated to manufacturers, processors, researchers and technology providers in this industry.
Over three days, the program will combine lectures, workshops and technical visits to analyze quality and authenticity, processing methods, extraction technologies, post-harvest handling, valorization of by-products, energy efficiency and waste treatment.
The congress is organized by the Avocado Oil Manufacturers Association (AOMA), an entity focused on strengthening the industry through science, transparency, quality and international collaboration.
Avocado Territory
This November 4th and 5th, Medellín will be the setting for Territorio Aguacate 2026 , an event that seeks to connect knowledge, innovation and commercial opportunities for the Latin American Hass avocado chain.
Its agenda will revolve around three main themes: fruit quality, production and productivity, and supply chain and marketing. The program includes academic summits, expert consultations, AvoTalks, AvoMatch, and Avotour.
Territorio Aguacate is organized by Corpohass, the association that represents the Hass avocado sector in Colombia, together with Agrilink.
Global Avocado Summit
The calendar will continue in Chile on November 11, with the second edition of the Global Avocado Summit , which will bring together the industry at the Monticello Conference Center, in San Francisco de Mostazal.
The event will bring together producers, exporters, buyers, certifiers, consultants, technology providers and investors to analyze water sustainability, certifications, traceability, access to new markets, reputation of origin and new consumer demands.
The event is organized by Paltas de Chile and Yentzen Group. Its first edition, held in 2024, brought together more than 650 attendees and 50 sponsoring companies.
The Avocado Conference
From November 18 to 20, San Diego will host the first edition of The Avocado Conference 2026. Organized by Farm Journal, through The Packer, in partnership with the Hass Avocado Board, the event will bring together various stakeholders in the supply chain to analyze production, trade, consumption, marketing, and the outlook for the U.S. market.
These meetings are part of a broader international agenda that will offer the industry various opportunities to update knowledge, generate business connections and analyze the challenges that will accompany the sector towards 2027.
