Local Market

The Brazilian market for Hass avocados in July 2025 shows a low volume available, although prices have not yet experienced a significant increase in the country's main wholesale market:

Current price levels range between R$10/kg and R$12/kg (USD 1.78/kg to USD 2.14/kg).

Brazil still has fruit from regular flowering, with dry matter levels between 28% and 30%. In addition, the harvest of the so-called "crazy flowering" has begun, which has a dry matter content of around 23%. This early fruit should supply the Brazilian market until the end of October.

Regarding the historical volume of Hass avocados traded by the Central Mayorista de São Paulo, CEAGESP, it represents approximately 80% of the total volume of Hass avocados in Brazil.

The Hass avocado import season in 2025 is expected to begin in late October or early November.

Export Market

Brazil continues to send between 6 and 8 truckloads per week to Argentina, and approximately 1 truckload per week to Uruguay. We estimate that there are still about 1,400 tons left to harvest in the orchards, which would allow us to maintain this pace until September.

For the time being, shipments of Hass avocados to Europe have ended. However, air shipments of tropical avocados continue.
