Panorama of Hass avocados in Brazil
Brazil
LOCAL MARKET
June saw the lowest prices of the year, but volume increased compared to May. Brazil is expected to continue experiencing low prices throughout July.

The current price of Hass avocados at the central supply center, CEAGESP
https://ceagesp.gov.br/cotacoes/ as of 1/7/2026, remains low and with no prospect of rising!

EXPORT MARKET
June saw the last shipments to Europe, with significantly lower volumes than May. There should be almost no shipments to Europe in July. For Argentina and Uruguay, June saw slightly higher volumes than May, and the outlook for July is to increase shipment volumes to Argentina and Uruguay.

FIELD
In June, only medium-sized, large-sized fruit was harvested. This is still the type of fruit available for shipment, mainly to Latin America, which doesn't particularly like large sizes, so this will be a challenge for Brazilian producers.
PERSPECTIVES
By July, Brazil should stop exporting to Europe, or if it does, it would be around four containers per week. Prices in Argentina continue to rise, but we'll have to find a market for larger fruit. Brazil should send 15 to 20 truckloads per week to Argentina in July. Brazil's export season continues until September or October.
