Fruit Attraction São Paulo 2025 doubles its size, boosts innovation and strengthens global trade

The second edition of Fruit Attraction São Paulo opened its doors on March 25 at the São Paulo Expo & Convention Centre, consolidating itself as a key event for the fruit and vegetable sector in Latin America.

Organized jointly by IFEMA MADRID and Fiera Milano Brasil , the fair has doubled in size compared to the previous edition and expects to receive around 18,000 visitors . Companies from more than 20 countries and representatives from eight Brazilian states are participating in the event, consolidating São Paulo as a regional meeting point for the fresh fruit and vegetable sector.

During the opening ceremony, Fabio Angelo Bonassi , coordinator of the Territorial and Sectoral Unit of Sebrae-SP, emphasized that "the fruit sector is a national vocation" and underscored the interest in continuing to support initiatives that promote trade and technical exchange with other countries, especially with Europe. For his part, Armando Júnior , representative of the Municipal Secretariat of Economic Development and Labor of São Paulo, indicated that the city seeks to position itself as a relevant center for trade fairs in the agri-food sector, emphasizing the effort to strengthen fruit production and exports.

Brazil, the world's third-largest fruit producer, currently ranks 23rd in exports. Fruit Attraction São Paulo plays a key role in promoting and enhancing the sector's internationalization, offering a platform for participants to generate new business contacts and strengthen existing relationships with international buyers.

The fair will run until March 27 , offering a variety of activities including business meetings and institutional presentations. Supported by organizations such as ABRAFRUTAS and ApexBrasil , the event aims to promote Brazilian fruit production in international markets and consolidate São Paulo as a key hub for the fresh produce trade in Latin America.
