Mexicans almost take over the United States, while Europe and Asia show rising prices

Week after week, Mexico has seen its market share increase in the United States. This week, the Avobook Report shows that it has reached 87%, in a scenario where prices for larger sizes are decreasing significantly.

In Europe, the arrival hubs in Spain and the Netherlands are showing a trend diametrically opposed to that of North America, as prices have risen and are expected to remain high for at least six weeks. Shipments from Peru are decreasing, but it remains the main supplier. Furthermore, total volume increased by 5% compared to the previous week.

Asia is making a comeback in total avocado shipments, with 44 containers arriving from Peru and Chile, with prices remaining high and little difference between sizes.
