Mexico increases its shipments to the US by 6%, while Colombia's fall by 56% and California's by 25%.

The international avocado market presented a picture of contrasts. In the United States, 1,563 shipments arrived, a 3% increase compared to the previous week and 18% more than in 2024. Mexico accounted for 76% of the total, followed by Peru with 15%, California with 8%, and Colombia with 1%. While Mexico and Peru increased their shipments by 6% and 24%, respectively, Colombia and California saw their market share decrease. Prices have continued to decline since week 30, with drops of up to 14% for larger sizes.

In Europe, 895 containers arrived in week 37, 37% more than last year, with Peru dominating 73% of the market. Prices rose sharply, with notable increases of over 40% for small sizes in Rotterdam and up to 30% for medium sizes in Spain.

In China, meanwhile, 26 containers were received, a 24% decrease compared to the previous week, although prices increased by more than 50% in large sizes, exceeding 2024 levels for the first time since week 26.

Finally, Peru exported 819 shipments in week 36, 18% less than the previous week but double that of 2024, with Europe absorbing 73% of the volume and consolidating itself as the main destination.
