International agreements
Avobook and Associação Abacates do Brasil seal a strategic alliance to strengthen the global projection of Brazilian origin
Avobook and Associação Abacates do Brasil join forces to promote Brazilian origin through key market information and greater global visibility.

The rapid expansion of Brazilian avocados and their growing position in international markets have transformed timely access to specialized data into a critical competitive advantage. In this context, Avobook and the Brazilian Avocado Association (Abacates do Brasil) formalized a collaboration agreement aimed at deepening the exchange of strategic information and consolidating the global presence of this origin.
The agreement will allow the Brazilian trade association access to detailed reports on prices, volumes, arrivals, and trade trends that Avobook monitors continuously. For its part, the international platform will expand its coverage and monitoring of an industry undergoing rapid growth and maturation.
A leap towards international consolidation and a data culture
For Rodrigo Stockler, president of the Abacates do Brasil Association, the agreement represents a fundamental milestone in the professionalization of the country's export supply, which has a diversified production of Hass variety and tropical varieties.
"Brazilian avocados are experiencing a cycle of accelerated expansion in planted area, volume, and number of markets served, but they still need to consolidate their position as a recognized player on the global stage. The alliance with Avobook connects us with a specialized platform that speaks the language of the international avocado industry and helps us to incorporate Brazil into that conversation with data, consistency, and credibility ," Stockler notes.
One of the central aims of the agreement is to reduce information asymmetry in order to optimize decision-making in key destinations such as Argentina , Uruguay and Europe , as well as in the opening of new markets.
"It is necessary to know when the market is undersupplied, how prices and arrivals behave, and where the gaps are. That is exactly where access to specialized information becomes strategic, because it transforms the shipping decision into an informed one, reduces risks, and helps the Brazilian exporter to arrive at the right time and to the right market ," emphasizes the president of Abacates do Brasil.
Stockler emphasizes that the underlying objective is to promote a structural transformation in the sector:
"We hope this collaboration will help build a data-driven culture in the sector, where decisions move from being reactive to being strategic. This strengthens the entire chain, from the small producer to the large exporter . "
Recognition of a key player on the global avocado map
From Avobook's perspective, this agreement consolidates its commitment to connecting key players in the global fruit industry with first-party information.
Sebastián de la Cuadra, CEO of Avobook, underlines the new status that the Brazilian industry has acquired within the international scene.
"We at Avobook already recognize Brazil as a major player. It's no longer a country that's just starting out, but rather a country that's in the process of maturing and growing ," De la Cuadra points out.
The CEO explains that Avobook will actively support the development of Brazilian exports by providing market analysis and disseminating its technical and commercial advancements:
"It will be very important for them to understand the state of the markets, how they behave, which countries coincide with Brazil's campaign, and to have a greater understanding of the different destinations where they are focusing their fruit. They have our full cooperation in providing that information ," says the CEO of Avobook.
From the platform, Avobook also highlights the importance of expanding the available data, which allows them to have an increasingly broader global overview regarding the avocado market.
"For us at Avobook, it is a source of pride to have more information and also to share with the world what Brazil and all its partners are doing in terms of production, quality and markets ," adds De la Cuadra.
Bridges for an interconnected industry
The alliance not only seeks to optimize immediate commercial management, but also to formally integrate Brazil into the strategic debates of global fruit farming.
As Rodrigo Stockler concludes:
"Avocados are a global commodity, and no country can grow sustainably in isolation from the international conversation. Platforms like Avobook act as bridges, connecting origins, markets, and actors that, on their own, would hardly engage in dialogue . "
