Local market

The volume traded in October via CEAGESP remains in line with the last three months, with a price decrease compared to September, as shown by the central market statistics. It's incredible how Brazil continues to rely on local fruit!

The current price of Hass avocados at the CEAGESP wholesale market ( https://ceagesp.gov.br/cotacoes/ ) as of November 7th remains in line with October (USD 2.20/kg to 2.85/kg). I believe we will only see higher prices in December.

The expectation is for a price increase in the local market in November, with more imports arriving in late November and early December.

Imports from Chile began in September and October:

There is still domestic fruit that should supply Brazil until the end of November.

Export market

Brazil continued sending 4 carts per week to Argentina (3.5/week) and Uruguay (2 per month), with prices of USD 1.86/kg FOB to Argentina and USD 1.99/kg FOB to Uruguay.

Tropical avocado air shipments abroad in August totaled 65 tons at an FOB price of USD 2.40/kg

Everything is going well in the fields, fruit is growing, and the trees are well laden…The estimated harvest for 2026 remains at 60,000 tons.
