Local market

The volume traded in September via CEAGESP remains stable, with a price increase compared to August, as shown by the central market statistics.

The current price of Hass avocados at the Central Supply Market, CEAGESP ( https://ceagesp.gov.br/cotacoes/ ), as of October 6th, remains in line with September (USD 2.20/kg to 2.85/kg). I believe we will only see higher prices in November.

The expectation is for a price increase in the local market by November, with more imports arriving at the end of October/November.

There was already an import from Chile in September:

There is still domestic fruit that must supply Brazil until the end of October.

Export market

Brazil continued sending 8 to 9 carts per week to Argentina and Uruguay, with prices of USD 2.09/kg FOB to Argentina and USD 1.92/kg FOB to Uruguay.

Tropical avocado air shipments abroad in August totaled 130 tons at an FOB price of USD 1.93/kg

We already have a very good harvest outlook for 2026. The weather problems of recent years did not occur in 2025. The estimate is that 60,000 tons of Hass avocados will be harvested in 2026! The campaign should begin at the start of January!
