Peru announces the 5th International Hass Avocado Congress (CIPALTO) 2026 in Trujillo

The event will once again bring together specialists, producers, and companies in the sector to share technical advances in Hass avocado cultivation.

The organizers of the International Hass Avocado Congress in Peru (CIPALTO) confirmed that its fifth edition will take place in 2026, consolidating this meeting as one of the most relevant technical spaces for training and updating the Peruvian avocado sector.

According to information released by the organizers through their official channels, the V International Hass Avocado Congress – CIPALTO 2026 will be held on September 10 and 11, 2026 at the Costa del Sol Wyndham Hotel in Trujillo, a key region for the development of the avocado agro-industry in the country.

The event seeks to continue strengthening the exchange of technical knowledge and the transfer of innovation to producers, agronomic advisors, supplier companies and professionals linked to the crop production chain.

Since its creation, CIPALTO's main objective has been to generate a specialized space to share experiences and advances in the agronomic management of Hass avocado cultivation.

According to the organizers, the congress was born as an initiative driven by professionals in the agricultural sector with direct field experience, with the purpose of transferring technical information and management strategies that allow improving the productivity and competitiveness of the industry.

Each year, the event brings together national and international specialists who present advances related to plant nutrition, health management, irrigation, crop physiology, technological innovation, and production strategies applied to avocados.

Continuity of a training space for the agro-industry

The confirmation of the V CIPALTO 2026 comes after previous editions that have brought together companies in the sector, researchers and producers interested in strengthening the technical development of the crop.

The congress organizers stated that the goal is to continue promoting knowledge transfer and the exchange of experiences among the various actors in the Peruvian agribusiness sector, thus consolidating a specialized training platform for the sector.

In addition to technical conferences, the event promotes networking spaces between producers, consultants, supplier companies and specialists, generating opportunities for collaboration and professional development within the avocado industry.
