Avocado Territory 2025: Colombia prepares for its biggest event in the Hass sector

The event will take place on November 5th and 6th in Medellín and will focus on productivity, sustainability and expansion into new international markets.

The Hass avocado industry in Colombia is gearing up for a new edition of Territorio Aguacate , one of the most important events in the agricultural export sector. The event, to be held on November 5th and 6th, 2025, at Plaza Mayor in Medellín, will bring together national and international experts for two days combining an academic summit with specialized consulting sessions. With over 130,000 tons exported in 2024, Colombia ranks as the world's third-largest exporter of this fruit.

Organized by Agrilink, the event will address key topics such as climate change management, production efficiency, water management, post-harvest handling, market diversification, and women's leadership in the sector. In addition to technical panels, attendees will be able to participate in business matchmaking sessions, technical tours, and networking opportunities, with a comprehensive approach aimed at strengthening the competitiveness and sustainability of Colombian avocados.

The second day will be dedicated to direct consultations with industry leaders, where producers and business owners can resolve doubts regarding phytosanitary issues, innovation, foreign trade, and quality. “Today, simply producing is not enough. It's essential to understand global market cycles, adapt to the climate, and guarantee quality from the tree to the end consumer,” the organizers emphasized. Registration is now open, with preferential access for those who purchase tickets during the pre-sale phase.
