Volume stabilizes in Europe while Israel consolidates its position as the main supplier

The European market closed week 6 with a total of 640 imported containers, a figure very similar to the previous week. Despite this stability in overall volume, the distribution by origin showed some variations. Israel consolidated its position as the main supplier, with 29% of the market, although its shipments decreased by almost 80 consignments compared to week 5. Morocco, with 27% of the market, closely follows Israel in terms of market share.

Colombia, for its part, maintains a steady flow of over 100 containers per week, a similar trend to Spain, which this time shipped a total of 98 containers. The supply from these countries strengthens the European market at a crucial time of year.

In terms of prices, stability has been the trend this week. In Rotterdam, prices remain at levels very similar to the previous week, suggesting a temporary equilibrium in the avocado market on the continent.
