Peru maintains its leadership in Europe with a high volume of shipments, despite a slight weekly decrease

Peru ended week 27 with a total of 1,427 containers shipped, representing a slight decrease of 2% compared to the previous week. However, in year-over-year terms, the volume shows solid growth of 26%.

Regarding the distribution of destinations, Europe accounted for 54% of Peru's total exports in week 27. It was followed by the United States with 16%, Asia with 15%, and Chile with 10%. This distribution reflects the continued priority of the European market for Peruvian exports, while also indicating a gradual diversification towards other strategic destinations.

One relevant fact is that Peru had recorded a European share of over 80% of its shipments for five consecutive weeks. In week 28, this figure adjusted slightly to 76%.
