NutriField is organizing a technical seminar in Portugal on intensive avocado management.

This Thursday, February 20, 2025, the city of Faro, in the Algarve region, will host a major event for producers, technicians, and agricultural professionals interested in avocado cultivation. Organized by NutriField , a company specializing in agricultural nutrition, this event aims to provide advanced knowledge on the intensive management of avocados, a fruit whose cultivation has gained significant importance in recent years due to high demand in international markets.

The event will begin with a Field Day , where attendees will have the opportunity to learn firsthand about various innovative practices and management techniques that optimize avocado development in different production systems. This space will allow for direct interaction with specialists and producers, who will share their experience in implementing effective strategies to improve the crop's productivity and profitability.

Following this, a technical presentation will be given by Gonzalo Vargas , a Chilean expert in avocado cultivation and renowned for his extensive experience in the sector. During his presentation, he will address key topics related to intensive crop management, including aspects such as tree nutrition, strategies for improving fruit quality, efficient irrigation techniques, and sustainable practices that promote profitable and environmentally friendly production.

The event will take place at O Convívio dos Cavaleiros in Faro, starting at 6:00 PM. Farmers, agricultural engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders involved in avocado production in Portugal are expected to attend and will have the opportunity to update their knowledge and strengthen their cultivation strategies.
