Latin America continues to consolidate its position as a key destination for Chilean fruit

During week 9, Chile registered a total of 85 avocado shipments, reflecting a 6% decrease compared to the previous week. Despite this drop, the volume does not show a drastic reduction, but rather a gradual trend. Three weeks ago, in week 6, shipments reached 100 containers, demonstrating a gradual adjustment in supply.

The distribution of shipments continues to show Latin America as the main destination, accounting for 44% of the total. The United States represents 32%, while Europe, with 20%, has been losing market share. Asia, for its part, received 5% of the shipments.

One of the most notable changes in shipment distribution is the recovery of the US market compared to Europe, which has shown a sustained decline. Meanwhile, Latin America continues to solidify its position as a key destination for Chilean fruit, reflecting stable demand in the region.
