Fruit Attraction 2024: Record growth with more than 2,100 exhibiting companies and new innovations
IFEMA Madrid and FEPEX announce the largest edition of Fruit Attraction to date, with a 7% increase in exhibitors and a 9% increase in exhibition space. The trade fair, which will take place from October 8 to 10, will transform Madrid into the global epicenter for the marketing of fresh produce.
The 16th edition of Fruit Attraction, organized by IFEMA Madrid and FEPEX, will take place from October 8 to 10 with record participation. A total of 2,146 companies from 56 countries will gather at the event, which will occupy 70,000 square meters, 9% more than last year. More than 100,000 professionals from 145 countries are expected to attend, solidifying the fair's position as one of the leading meeting points for the fresh produce supply chain.
The trade fair will feature 10 pavilions for the first time, reflecting a 6% increase in the Fresh Produce area and a 26% increase in Fresh Food Logistics. In addition, the new Innova&Tech pavilion, dedicated to technological innovation and research in the sector, will be launched. International participation has also increased significantly, representing 45% of the fair, with 22.5% more exhibition space than last year.
Andalusia will be the guest region at this year's Fruit Attraction, with the Andalusian Regional Government promoting the region's fruit and vegetable products and its "Gusto del Sur" (Taste of the South) quality brand. Among the highlights, the avocado will be the star product, with the Global Avocado Congress taking place. The event will also host a series of congresses and forums, including the Biofruit Congress and the Walnut and Pecan Congress, along with 37 exhibitor presentations at the Fruit Next Forums.
