Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. announced a new strategic alliance with Colombian agricultural company Managro Group, renowned for its lime and avocado exports. The agreement includes a joint investment to expand a packing plant in Colombia, strengthening the operational capacity and presence of both companies in two of the fastest-growing categories in the global fruit industry.

The initiative aims to improve supply chain efficiency and ensure a continuous supply of high-quality fruit for customers in North America and Europe. According to the company, the expansion will allow them to offer premium avocados and limes more consistently and in volumes that meet growing international demand.
