Avocado Festival in Huancabamba: Preparations underway

In Huancabamba, Oxapampa province, anticipation is palpable as they prepare for the eagerly awaited avocado festival, scheduled for the second half of March or the first half of April, depending on weather conditions.

Led by Mr. Leoncio Hurtado Aldaba, the organizing committee has been working diligently to ensure the event's success. Joining him are prominent members such as Janelle Guzmán, César Ponce Tolentino, and other dedicated local individuals.

This committee works closely with the Huancabamba District Municipality, led by Ms. Hilda Hilario Ponce, who strongly supports all initiatives that benefit local producers and promote environmental preservation. The festival not only promises to celebrate the versatility of the avocado, but also to foster unity and sustainable development within the community.
