Peruvian avocado exports to Europe grow 20% in one week

Peru, the main supplier of avocados to Europe, registered a rebound in its exports this week with 1,106 containers shipped, representing a 20% increase compared to the previous week and a remarkable 74% above the volume recorded in the same week last year.

This behavior contrasts with last week's trend, when shipments had fallen below 1,000 containers. Now, the flow is regaining momentum and has once again surpassed the 1,100 mark.

Regarding destinations, Europe accounted for 62% of shipments, solidifying its position as the main recipient of Peruvian exports. It was followed by the United States with 18%, Chile with 11%, Asia with 7%, and other markets that together represented between 2% and 3%.
