Europe: An Increase Driven by Chile and Morocco

The story in Europe was somewhat different. During the week, 47,766 containers of avocados arrived on European shores, marking a 24% increase over the previous week. This increase was primarily driven by Chile, which recorded 34% more shipments, solidifying its position as a key player in this market. Morocco, for its part, also showed signs of growth with a 25% increase, reflecting the region's dynamism. Prices in Rotterdam remained relatively stable, although size 30 avocados experienced a 17% drop, reflecting the fluctuations that sometimes characterize supply and demand. In Spain, the situation was more stable, although size 18 avocados saw an 8% decrease .
