Europe ends the year with weekly increases in shipments and changes in distribution by origin
In the last week of the year, the European market saw a 6% weekly increase, with an estimated total of 594 shipments. Despite this increase compared to the previous week, the volume was 13% lower than that recorded in the same week of 2024.
The distribution by origin again showed Chile as the main supplier, with a 26% share. It was followed by Israel with 24%, Colombia with 21%, Spain with 20%, and Morocco with 9%.
Compared to the previous week, the largest increases came from Chile, with a 36% rise in shipments, and from Spain, with growth of nearly 10%. In contrast, Israel saw a 10% decrease, although it remained at similar levels to Chile. Market analysis indicates that, at the beginning of 2026, Israel could once again lead in shipments, followed by Spain and Colombia, while Chile is expected to gradually reduce its share.
Arrivals from Mexico were also observed, although in insignificant volumes within the weekly total.
