United States with falling prices

The Avobook Report for week 43 shows that, as of the end of the previous week, the United States was supplying virtually the entire avocado market, reaching a 97% market share. Of the remaining suppliers, Chile contributed the most volume, although it only accounted for 2%. The other countries each represented less than one percent of the weekly volume.

Within this group, California saw a significant decrease in volume compared to the previous week (78%), and although Chile also decreased, it did so by 12%.

The United States is experiencing a period of declining prices, affecting all calibers, with smaller calibers suffering a much steeper drop. An example of this is the 84 caliber, whose value has decreased by 42%.
